V roce 1966 začalo George unavovat být součástí Beatles a dokonce jeho účast na nahrávání alba Sgt. Pepper´s Lonely Hearts Club Band byla relativně malá. Tato píseň byla sice původně míněna jako vtip, nicméně současně to byla trochu kritika na dominantní postavení Lennona a McCartneyho jako autorů skladeb Beatles a malému prostoru, který jeho vlastní skladby na albech skupiny dostávaly.
